Mary Rochte

Mary Rochte, Chief Financial Officer, is a cornerstone of our financial planning, strategy, and model of integrity that defines VTC.  With a special combination of prudence, experience, and high standards; and navigating in a variety of financial environments, Mary’s accomplishments have been an important contribution to the success and stability of VTC and have contributed to successful project and program management.  Her longstanding banking, insurance and accounting relationships have been, and continue to be, one of her most valuable assets.  Clients recognize our financial leadership and business acumen, due in large part to attributes and values contributed by Mary Rochte.

Joe Pharis

Joe Pharis has been at the core of the VTC family for over a generation.  Joe’s exceptional leadership uniquely facilitates consensus and transforms concepts to completed projects.  Serving as Director of Field Services, he is one of the pillars of VTC driving unity and unanimity leading the innovation in elegant design solutions, application of emerging technology, and continuing integrity that VTC is known to provide.  His greatest accomplishment is developing our Airport Integration Test Lab where a legacy of BHS and security system development has occurred and continues the adventure of redefining airport consultants and the passenger experience.  Joe is a leading industry professional who is consistent in setting the example for integrity, progressing industry standards, and delivering advanced results for the clients of VTC.

Megumi Hice, Ph.D.

Megumi Hice is a recognized industry leader who was responsible for developing and integrating EtherNet/IP as a standard.  Megumi is responsible for numerous advancements within BHS operations and maintenance.  She is a unique Project Management leader whose vision and impact are without equal.  Her ability to enable client visions to become reality through elegant design and focused project management is legendary within the aviation industry.  In addition, Megumi continues to be instrumental in advancing a culture focusing on superior BHS design services to our clients and business partners, as she serves as our Chief Operating Officer.  In all she does, she sets the standard of trust, unity, and stability while delivering elegant solutions that define VTC.

Michael Hedman

Mike Hedman has been with VTC since 2013. The experience with baggage handling system design he has brought to VTC is supplemented with other material handling automation experience that grants him a unique perspective as he develops elegant solutions for our clients. Mike is a driver of VTC design innovation as he serves as the leader of the design group.

Karen Dickerson

Karen Dickerson joined VTC in 2003 and has seen the company grow from six to over 30 employees. Over the years she has taken on many roles and responsibilities within the company, but currently her main focus is Marketing and Human Resources Management.  Serving as Admin Director as well as Marketing/Business Development Coordinator, Karen assists with the company’s recruiting efforts, benefit plan management, website development, and proposal management.  Karen holds great passion for the prosperity for VTC and in that, she works relentlessly to better the culture and productivity of the company.

Mary Lang

Mary Lang has a background of more than a decade of experience in sales and business development, including 7 years in the aviation industry. She is an industry professional, known for her excellent communication and critical thinking skills. As our Director of Business Development and Marketing, Mary is responsible for the development and management of business and marketing strategies, marketing and proposal material, and preparation of qualification packages and proposals. Mary’s vision and creative approach are essential in the procurement phase of VTC’s projects.
